October 28th 2013 | New Sky In-Room Packages Offer No Upfront Set-Up Costs, Interest Free Payments and HD Viewing

Sky is providing even more hotels with the opportunity to boost their profits through Sky In-Room1, via the launch of a new payment plan offering no upfront set-up costs, interest free payments and a three-year warranty. Additionally, an exclusive three-year partnership with Samsung makes it more affordable for hotels to upgrade TVs to Samsung’s market-leading technology through a new bundle package, which means hotels will have the very latest HD technology, delivering the ultimate viewing experience for their customers.

From as little as £13.50 per room (per month), national hotel chains through to independent B&Bs2 can now spread their Sky In-Room installation costs3 over three years, interest free and payable as part of their monthly Sky In-Room subscription – all backed by a three-year warranty.  Hotels taking the new Sky In-Room and Samsung HD TV bundle package4 also benefit from the new payment plan, as well as a discounted price5 starting from as little as £14.85 per room (per month).

Hotels have a choice of four Sky HD channel packs for Sky In-Room, so can get access to more than 300 channels via digital satellite. This provides hotels with the flexibility to offer Sky’s full range of content, including six dedicated Sky Sports channels, a range of award-winning entertainment, news and music channels, or to tailor it. Options include Channel Pack 1 (entertainment), Channel pack 2 (entertainment and sports), Channel Pack 3 (entertainment and movies) and Channel pack 4 (entertainment, sports, movies and 3D).

All of Samsung HD TVs included in the package offer a true home theatre experience with 3D sound through their Soundbar compatibility and pin-sharp picture quality. Samsung’s outstanding TV design approach also means all TVs have elegantly designed exteriors that will elevate and complement the décor of the guest rooms.  The HD TVs are also setting standards in energy efficiency and are designed to lower power usage and cut over all energy bill.  All TVs have LED panels that can cut consumption by nearly half, meaning a 56” Samsung LED TV consumes the same amount of energy as a conventional 32” LCD TV.
